at the Science Center
Wild Ocean 3D—
Opens October 17, 2008
Wild Ocean is a timely and uplifting film that celebrates the life in our oceans, the animals that depend on us to survive. It is a film about the people who come together to protect our world. Hope is alive on the Wild Coast, where Africa meets the sea.
The film is written and directed by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, the award-winning creators of Pulse: a STOMP Odyssey.

FADE: The Dark Side of Light —
Now through September 29, 2008
The California Science Center, in collaboration with the Getty Conservation Institute, opened a new exhibit entitled FADE:
The Dark Side of Light on October 10, 2007. The 1,200 sq. ft. exhibit, which blends science and art, explores the destructive effects of light exposure on priceless museum treasures and family photos. It also offers suggestions for mitigating the damage.
